GREENSBORO, N.C. – Purdue's games against Fairfield and North Carolina to open the UNCG Invitational have been canceled due to overnight snowfall and cold temperatures in the Greensboro area.
Purdue's game versus Fairfield will be rescheduled to Sunday. The Boilermakers, who were originally scheduled for a single game Sunday against the Stags will become a doubleheader. As a result, the first pitch will be moved up to 10 a.m. ET with the second game slated for 12:30 p.m. ET.
Friday's game vs. North Carolina will not be rescheduled.
The Boilermakers will be back tomorrow for a doubleheader against UNC at 9:30 a.m. ET and UNC Greensboro at 2:30 p.m. ET. For the full tournament schedule click here.
