WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Purdue men's tennis team is back for a pair of matches this Saturday at the Schwartz Tennis Center. The Boilermakers will host Marquette at 10 a.m. and Butler at 6 p.m.

The Boilermakers are 6-4 this season and have won five of their last six. Prior to their defeat against No. 3 Florida last Sunday, Purdue rolled off its first five-match winning streak since 2017.
Senior Athell Bennett will surely rise in the next edition of the ORACLE/ITA singles rankings next week. Currently No. 30, the senior knocked off his second top-five opponent last week, when he took down No. 4 Sam Riffice from No. 3 Florida. Bennett is 5-2 on the year at No. 1 in singles.
Marquette bounced back from a three-match losing streak to open the season to roll off three straight wins, including a 4-2 decision against Wisconsin. Butler has had a strong start to the 2020 campaign with a mark of 8-3.
