Purdue Hosts No. 20 Tennessee and Notre Dame This Weekend

After back-to-back weekends on the road, the Purdue women's tennis team opens a six-match homestand this weekend with a pair of highly-touted contests. The Boilermakers will welcome No. 20 Tennessee to the Schwartz Tennis Center at 3 p.m. on Friday, before a 2 p.m. matchup with Notre Dame on Sunday.

The Boilermakers will welcome No. 20 Tennessee to the Schwartz Tennis Center at 3 p.m. on Friday, before a 2 p.m. matchup with Notre Dame on Sunday.

The Boilermakers enter the weekend with a 3-3 mark on the year, including wins against Xavier, Miami and Butler. Ena Babic is 3-2 at the top of the singles lineup, while Alex Sabe has a 2-2 record at No. 3 this season. The No. 3 doubles spot has been strong for the Boilermakers at 4-1, topped by a perfect 2-0 record from Nathalia Wolf Gasparin and Zala Dovnik.

The Lady Volunteers are 3-1 on the year after splitting a pair of matches at the ITA Kickoff Weekend. Tennessee sits 20th in the nation in the most recent ORACLE/ITA poll, along with a trio of players in the top 70 of the individual rankings.

Notre Dame is 5-2 this spring, dropping matches to No. 3 Georgia and Kentucky. The Fighting Irish have one player in the latest national rankings with Ally Bojczuk checking in at No. 122.
