WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Purdue men's tennis team is set for a three-match weekend at the Schwartz Tennis Center. The Boilermakers will play a doubleheader Saturday against Chicago State and IUPUI at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., respectively. On Sunday, Purdue will face its biggest test of the year against No. 3 Florida at 10 a.m.

The Boilermakers enter the weekend riding a three-match winning streak with wins over Utah, DePaul and Toledo. Julian Saborio won both his singles matches last weekend to move to 2-1 at the No. 6 position this season. Fellow senior Athell Bennett improved to 4-2 at No. 1 and moved up to a career-high No. 30 in the ORACLE/ITA singles rankings, the third highest singles mark in program history.
Chicago State has dropped all five of its matches this season, while IUPUI enters the weekend with a 1-5 record and a four-match losing streak.
Florida is 7-1 on the year, including wins over No. 24 UCF and No. 22 Florida State. The Gators are led by ORACLE/ITA No. 4 Sam Riffice, No. 11 Duarte Vale, No. 23 Oliver Crawford, No. 90 Lukas Greif and No. 112 Blaise Bicknell.
