WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue men's tennis team will open its 2020 campaign with four matches in three days this weekend. The Boilermakers will venture to the Arthur Ashe Invitational in West Point, N.Y., to face Harvard, Marist and host Army West Point.
Purdue will then travel to Notre Dame on Monday to square off with the Fighting Irish in South Bend at 4 p.m.

The Boilermakers return to the duel season after 10-14 record during the 2019 campaign. Head coach Pawel Gajdzik enters his 11th year at the helm of the program.
Purdue features a roster stacked with collegiate and international experience. Seniors Athell Bennett, Franz Luna and Julian Saborio lead a squad that also has two juniors, one sophomore and four freshmen.
Bennett was tabbed No. 45 in the nation by the ORACLE/ITA ranking back in November. The Valley Stream, N.Y., went 13-6 in 2019 with 20 matches at No. 1 singles and a 2-4 mark against ranked opponents. During the fall, the senior notched a 7-4 record in singles play, reaching the semifinals of the of the ITA Ohio Valley Regional.
On the doubles side, newly-paired Polish tandem Maksymilian Raupuk and Tomasz Dudek won the Purdue Invite in their first event paired together.
