Purdue bounced back into the win column Wednesday against Western Kentucky with a 67-50 decision. Karissa McLaughlin scored a team-high 17 points, including her 1,000th career point, while defensively, the Boilermakers held the Lady Toppers to just 25% from the field in the second half. McLaughlin and Kayana Traylor combined to dish out 10 assists.

The Boilermakers to finish the non-conference slate with a 9-3 record for the second straight season. McLaughlin's 12.6 points per game leads the team and sits in the top 20 in the Big Ten. Ae'Rianna Harris turned away one shot against Western Kentucky for her 34th block on the season, which leads the Big Ten and ranks seventh nationally.
