The Boilermakers return to Mackey Arena to face Western Kentucky for Education Day. More than 1,700 students from local schools will be in attendance. 

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Returning to Mackey Arena, the Purdue women's basketball team will face Western Kentucky on Wednesday at noon. The Boilermakers will welcome more than 1,700 students from local schools for Education Day, which will teach them about the value of academics, athletics, sportsmanship and community service.

Ae'Rianna Harris vaulted back to the top of the NCAA active blocks list after nine rejections at No. 5 South Carolina on Sunday. The Indianapolis native tied for second in single-game Purdue history and set the record for most blocks by a senior. Harris ranks sixth in the nation with 33 blocks and eighth with 3.3 blocks per game.

Karissa McLaughlin has caught fire over the last two games with 26 points per outing. The junior enters Wednesday 15 points shy of joining the 1,000-point club as its 35th member. McLaughlin climbed up to fifth in the career record book with 185 3-pointers.

• Western Kentucky owns a 2-0 series lead with the last game back on Dec. 3, 1977.
• Purdue is 4-0 at Mackey Arena this season with a 42.3% shooting percentage and a rebounding margin of 8.5.
