PURDUE NOTES
• The Boilermakers have four individuals ranked in the top-10 of their respective weight classes, marking the first time Purdue has had three or more in the top-10 since Feb. 8, 2011, when Luke Manuel, A.J. Kissel and Logan Brown were tabbed No. 8, No. 8 and No. 10, respectively by InterMat.
• Coleman is off to a 12-0 start, matching the Boilermakers' best start for a freshman since Chris Fleeger started 12-0 in 2001-02.
• Lydy has been ranked in 39 straight polls dating to Dec. 4, 2017, and is currently holding his highest career rankings across the board.
• With seven takedowns Sunday, Lydy enter Purdue's career top-20 for the category. He surpassed Nick Corpe on the list, collecting his 218th career takedown. He's now two wins shy of a tie for 19th-place in program history, sitting with 89 heading to Vegas.
• Schroder continued climbing the Boilermakers' back points list, racking up 22 on Sunday to push his career total to 324 and move to third all-time at Purdue. He surpassed Chris Fleeger and Alex Griffin on the list and now sits shy of only Scott Hinkel (391) and Jake Patacil (803).
• Schroder's 90 back points this season are already tied for 15th on Purdue's single-season record list, making him 1-of-3 Boilermakers with three entries in Purdue's all-time top-20, joining Patacsil and Hinkel.
• Brunner is leaving his marks in the record book as well, moving to 12th all-time with 200 career back points Sunday, and sitting three pins short of a spot in Purdue's career top-20 on that list as well. Like Lydy, Brunner is on pace for a spot on Purdue's career wins list, owning 83 to date.
• Through 13 matches junior Max Lyon has accumulated over 35 minutes of riding time, and is +32:24 over his opponents in the category, good for nearly two and half minutes per match.
• Schroder and Lyon are first and second on the team in total points scored at 156 and 139, respectively. Impressively, 98 of Schroder's points have come in the first period, leading to three first-period technical falls.
• After going three full seasons without a weekly conference honoree, Purdue had individuals honored in back-to-back weeks to start 2019-20 as freshman Kendall Coleman shared Big Ten Wrestler of the Week honors on Nov. 5 and senior Dylan Lydy was named Big Ten Wrestler of the Week on Nov. 12.
