ESTERO, Fla. - The Purdue women's basketball team will compete for a title at the Gulf Coast Showcase on Sunday night. The Boilermakers will face No. 22 Gonzaga in the championship game. 

ESTERO, Fla. - The Purdue women's basketball team will compete for a title at the Gulf Coast Showcase on Sunday night. The Boilermakers will face No. 22 Gonzaga in the championship game.

The Boilermakers reached the championship game after a 20-point win over Drake on Friday night, followed by a 59-52 win against Arizona State in the semifinals Saturday. 

Purdue and Drake have met just twice before, a home-and-home series over the 2005-06 and 2006-07 seasons. The Boilermakers hold a 2-0 series lead.

NOTES 
• With three blocks against Arizona State, Ae'Rianna Harris became just the fifth student in Big Ten history to record 300 career blocked shots. Harris, joined an elite group that also includes Michigan State's Allyssa DeHaan (503 from 2007-10), Ohio State's Jessica Davenport (384 from 2004-07), Michigan's Trish Andrew (367 from 1990-93) and Northwestern's Amy Jaeschke (357 from 2008-11). 
• Head coach Sharon Versyp now has 399 wins in her career after the victory over Arizona State on Saturday.
•  Purdue's defense has been stout, holding five of its six opponents below 60 points this season.
• The Boilermakers are ranked 18th in the nation and third in the Big Ten with 51.7 points against per game.
• Dominique Oden leads the team with 14.2 points per game, including and a 52.9% 3-point mark.
