WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Following the conclusion of the Big Ten regular season, the No. 16 Boilermakers will learn their NCAA Tournament fate on Sunday. The team invites fans, friends and family to join them in a watch party at the Spurgeon Club in Mackey Arena.
Doors will open for the event at 8:15 p.m. ET with the NCAA Selection Show slated to begin at 8:30 p.m. on ESPNU. The event is open to the public and fans are encouraged to come and show their support for the Boilermakers.
Purdue (21-7, 13-6 Big Ten) is back in the NCAA Tournament for its 14th appearance since 2003 when head coach Dave Shondell was hired to lead the Boilermaker volleyball program. Overall, this year will mark Purdue's 21st appearance in the national tournament.
The Boilermakers will also await the possibility to host the NCAA Tournament first and second round matches on Belin Court. Purdue lasted hosted the opening round in 2011.
