Bell Earns 4th B1G Freshman of the Week Honor

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Wide receiver David Bell has been named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week for a school-record-tying fourth time this season. The weekly recognition is the eighth overall for a Boilermaker in 2019.
 
Bell caught 12 passes for 108 yards and a touchdown at Wisconsin last week. It was his fifth contest with 100 or more yards and his third double-digit reception game of the year. Bell enters the final week of the season leading the Big Ten with 77 receptions and third in the conference with 899 yards receiving.
