WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue baseball is inviting fans of all ages to Alexander Field for an Oct. 29 Halloween event that will feature trick-or-treating on the field following a three-inning scrimmage.
Baseball's Halloween Bash is a new event planned for Tuesday, Oct. 29 at 6 p.m. Admission is free at Alexander Field. The Boilermakers will be wearing costumes and fans in attendance are also encouraged to arrive dressed in Halloween costumes.
The event will begin with a three-inning scrimmage, after which children will be able to join the players on the field for trick-or-treating. Inflatable play areas and Halloween crafts will be available to fans on the concourse during the scrimmage.
Fans in attendance will receive a voucher redeemable for one free ticket to any regular-season home game during the 2020 season. Purdue has five home weekends and 23 total home dates on its 2020 schedule.
The Boilermakers are also making plans to host their First Pitch Dinner in January and popular Preseason Fan Fest inside Mollenkopf in February. But first they close out their fall ball schedule with Friday's 5 p.m. ET exhibition game vs. Wabash Valley College followed by the three-game Black & Gold Series (Oct. 17-19). Admission is free for all fall events at Alexander Field.
