WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Purdue basketball teams will hold their annual Fan Day on Saturday, Oct. 19, beginning at 11 a.m. ET at Mackey Arena.
The event is open to the public and admission is free. Doors will open at 10:45 a.m., with the autograph session featuring both the men's and women's teams beginning at 11 a.m., lasting approximately one hour. The men will then hold an intrasquad scrimmage, beginning at 12:30 p.m. The teams will be split up into two squads (Black and Gold) and will play at least three, 10-minute scrimmages. Players will likely be switching teams throughout the scrimmage. There will be no video stream available for the scrimmage.
Fan Day also will be the first opportunity to receive the 2019-20 schedule posters and to meet your favorite Boilermakers face-to-face. Children that attend Fan Day will have the opportunity to draw players' headshots for a chance to have their illustration featured on the video board for Kids Club games this season.
This will be the lone opportunity to see the men's team before its exhibition game Nov. 1, against Southern Indiana beginning at 8 p.m. ET at Mackey Arena.
Tickets are available on PurdueSports.com, by calling 800.49SPORT or by visiting the Hayes Family Athletics Ticket Office at Mackey Arena. Packages are currently on sale to all John Purdue Club members and will go on sale to the general public Oct. 15.
