Next Stop: Big Ten Play
  • Purdue enters conference action with a 4-2-1 record.
  • Purdue's two losses came against top-11 ranked opponents: then-ranked No. 7 South Carolina and No. 11 Kansas.
  • The Boilermakers' 2-0-1 non-conference road record ties the 2006 team as the program-best heading into B1G play.
  • For the first time since 2007, Purdue remained unbeaten when playing road or neutral site games.
  • There are six times in program history Purdue has remained unbeaten in all road/neutral site games heading into conference action: 2019, 2015 (1-0-1), 2014 (1-0-1), 2007 (2-0-0), 2006 (2-0-1) and 2001 (2-0-0).
  • Junior Hannah Melchiorre leads the team with three goals scored, meanwhile she is joined by freshman Leanna Rebimbas with a team-best six points apiece.
  • Despite redshirting the 2018 season, Sarah Griffith rejoined the starting lineup and owns a team-high 10 shots on goal.
  • Sydney Duarte, Griffith and Rebimbas each have two assists to pace the team.

Unstoppable
  • Goalkeeper Marisa Bova produced her fourth shutout of the season with the double-overtime 0-0 draw at Saint Louis on Sunday.
  • In the stalemate, Bova faced seven shots on goal, stopping every one of them. The seven saves mark the first time in 13 years that a Purdue goalkeeper recorded at least seven saves in a shutout (Lauren Mason, 2006).
  • Bova enters conference action tied for second in the Big Ten with four shutouts on the year (Meagan McClelland, Rutgers, 5, Claire Graves, Iowa, 4.
  • Through the first seven games, Bova faced 58 shots, made 22 saves and allowed just five goals. Only three other Big Ten programs have held opponents to five or less goals: Rutgers (2), Michigan (4), Wisconsin (4).
  • Bova earned Big Ten weekly honors on Aug. 27 following the 1-0 shutout against Georgia and the 3-0 victory against Toledo.

Scouting the Nebraska (1-4-2)
  • This will be the eleventh meeting all-time between the two teams, Nebraska currently leads the series 7-3.

  • Sinclaire Miramontez leads the team in scoring with two goals on 14 shots.
  • A year ago, the Huskers and Boilermakers met in Lincoln, where Purdue was edged out, 1-0 with a goal scored by Savanah Uveges in the 14th minute.
  • Senior goalkeeper Aubrei Corder has made a sizable dent in the Nebraska career recordbooks, checking in at No. 1 in goalkeeper minutes, No. 3 in shutouts (24.2), T-No.3 in saves (206), No. 5 in wins (30).
  • Leading the team in shots and shots on goal is Meg Brandt (16 shots, 11 on goal).
