  • The Boilermakers opened the season with a 4-0 record, one of the best starts in program history.
  • Purdue's two losses came against the No. 7 and No. 11-nationally ranked opponents. Despite the scoreboard, the Boilermakers out-shot their opponents 27-18 over the two games.
  • Hannah Melchiorre leads the team with three goals on the season, while her 0.50 goals per game average ties for sixth in the Big Ten.
  • Three Boilermakers produced six points this season: Sarah Griffith, Melchiorre and Leanna Rebimbas.
  • For the first time since 2015, Purdue scored at least three goals in back-to-back games: W, 4-0 vs. Toledo and W, 3-0 at DePaul.

  • Three Boilermakers have scored at least twice: Sarah Griffith, Leanna Rebimbas and Hannah Melchiorre. Meanwhile, Griffith and Melchiorre lead the team with two game-winners apiece.
  • All three (Griffith, Melchiorre and Rebimbas) own six points on the season.
  • Goalkeeper Marisa Bova has played every minute of the 2019 season thus far (540 min).
  • Freshman center-back Sydney Sparks leads the remaining team with 534 minutes on the pitch while also producing the most shots on the team (13).
  • Griffith and Melchiorre have both placed over 80% of their shots on-frame: Melchiorre: 87.5% and Griffith 81.8%.
  • Three Boilermakers earned Big Ten weekly honors this season: Marisa Bova (Goalkeeper, 8/27), Sydney Sparks (Defender, 9/4) and Leanna Rebimbas (Co-Freshman, 9/4).
  • Sparks' B1G Defender of the Week honor marked just the fourth time a freshmen has earned the honor since 2008 who was not a goalkeeper. Two of the four honorees are Boilermakers.

Scouting the Saint Louis Bilikens (3-3-0)
  • This will be the first official meeting between the Bilikens and the Boilermakers, although the two met in February, where they reached a 2-2 stalemate.
  • Saint Louis will take on Iowa State Friday night before hosting Purdue on Sunday.
  • SLU returned seven starters from last year's team.
  • After winning the Atlantic 10 regular season and tournament championships, SLU was selected to repeat this year in the preseason coaches' poll.
  • SLU is 3-3 this year with all three losses coming on the road by Notre Dame, Louisville and Oklahoma State.
  • Entering the weekend, the Bilikens are undefeated at home this year (2-0).
  • After scoring a program-record 30 points last year, Hannah Friedrich leads the 2019 team with five points (2G, 1A).
  • SLU's senior defender Alli Klug appears on the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List for a second straight season.
  • Saint Louis has an all-time record of 7-13-3 against Big Ten programs.
