Purdue senior Timmy Hildebrand was voted a first-team All-Big Ten men's golf selection the league office announced Tuesday.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue senior Timmy Hildebrand was voted a first-team All-Big Ten men's golf selection the league office announced Tuesday. 

Hildebrand becomes the third all-Big Ten first-team selection during the Rob Bradley era, joining Austin Eoff (2016) and Brian Carlson (2018) as members of the exclusive group.
 
It marks the first time since 2000 and 2001 that Purdue has had two different golfers named first-team All-Big Ten in consecutive seasons (2000 – Chris Mayson; 2001 – Lee Williamson).

The senior from Westfield, Indiana, has had a sensational campaign for the Boilermakers, rewriting the Purdue golf record books.

Hildebrand has placed in the top 15 in eight of 11 events this season, including four straight top-six finishes during the fall. He recently placed sixth at the Big Ten Championships, the highest finish for a Boilermaker since Adam Schenk finished fifth in the 2013 event.  

Hildebrand and his teammates will play in their sixth straight NCAA Regional on May 13-15, at a site to be determined.
 
The NCAA Golf Regional Selection Show will be televised Wednesday on the Golf Channel, beginning at 9 p.m. ET.
