MAINEVILLE, Ohio - The second day of the 2019 Big Ten Women's Golf Championships was canceled Saturday due to unplayable conditions at TPC River's Bend. The tournament will be shortened to 36 holes to decide the conference champions and play will resume Sunday at 8 a.m. ET.
Purdue shot nine-over par, 297, Friday, led by senior Ida Ayu Indira Melati Putri, who is tied for first in the individual standings at one-under par, 71. The Boilermakers are six shots back from team-leading Illinois, while Ohio State and Indiana are tied for second at six-over par. Putri is one-of-three individuals at one-under 71, while three more players are at even par and seven players are two shots back at one-over 73.
The Boilermakers will play the final round with Michigan State and Michigan with final tee times still to be announced.
