Purdue women's tennis is set for its final two matches of the regular season, hosting Maryland on Saturday and Rutgers on Sunday at Schwartz Tennis Center.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue women's tennis is set for its final two matches of the regular season, hosting Maryland on Saturday and Rutgers on Sunday at Schwartz Tennis Center. Both matches begin at noon ET, while Sunday's event will feature the team's Senior Day festivities and will be followed by an Easter Egg Hunt.
 
Senior Silvia Ambrosio continues to lead the Boilermakers in the national rankings, owning the country's No. 30 spot in singles play, while teaming with senior Amina Mukhametshina for the No. 46 doubles ranking in the nation.
 
Purdue is coming off of a 1-1 road split weekend, falling at No. 21 Ohio State on Friday, before bouncing back with a 4-3 victory at Penn State on Sunday. The victory over the Lady Lions came down to the final court as Boilermaker junior Alex Sabe took down Penn State's Frederikke Svarre 3-6, 6-2, 6-3.
 
Series History
 
Purdue's last meeting with Maryland resulted in a 4-3 Boilermaker victory in College Park, earning all four points on the singles courts with wins from Ambrosio, Seira Shimizu, Caitlin Calkins and Zala Dovnik.
 
Purdue lead the all-time series with Rutgers 2-0, sweeping both match-ups 7-0. Last year, every court won in two sets, with Ambrosio leading the charge at the No. 1 spot defeating Lee Chloe 6-0, 6-0.
