WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Eric Hunter Jr., had a solid freshman season, appearing in all 37 games, averaging 2.2 points, 1.4 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game in 12.6 minutes per game. He posted an assist / turnover ratio of 1.86 (39 / 21), including an 8.00 ratio in NCAA Tournament play (8 / 1), averaging 2.3 points per game, 2.8 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game during NCAA Tournament play. He earned his first career start in the Boilermakers' first-round win over Old Dominion in the NCAA Tournament, tallying two points, four rebounds and three assists against no turnovers in 24 minutes of play.
