LINCOLN, Neb. – The Big Ten Conference has announced that Saturday's contest between No. 15-ranked Purdue and Nebraska has been moved to 2 p.m. ET / 1 p.m. CT, in advance of the impending winter storm expected to strike the Midwest on Saturday afternoon.
The decision was made in consultation with both schools as well as the Big Ten Conference and Big Ten Network for the safety of the teams and fans. The contest was originally scheduled for 4 p.m. ET.
The contest will still be televised live by Big Ten Network and online at BTN2Go.com, as well as the Fox Sports app. The Purdue Radio Network and its affiliates will carry the contest live, beginning with the Purdue Basketball Pregame Show at 1 p.m. ET / Noon CT. D
Even with the time change, fans are encouraged to use caution travelling to and from Pinnacle Bank Arena as winter storms are expected in the region all of Saturday.
Purdue enters the contest with a 19-7 overall and in second place in the Big Ten standings with a 12-3 record.
