WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue men's tennis team looks to continue the recent Boilermaker success over Indiana on Saturday at 3 p.m. at the IU Tennis Center in Bloomington. Purdue currently leads Indiana in the Governor's Cup competition 6.5 to 3.
Purdue junior Athell Bennett was ranked No. 108 in the Feb. 6 bi-weekly ITA Singles ranking. He started off the year 4-0, moving himself into the No. 1 spot for the Boilermakers. Classmate Stephan Koenigsfest boasts a 7-0 record this spring.
Series History
The Boilermakers last defeated the Hoosiers in 2016, 4-1, in West Lafayette. Purdue earned a 5-2 victory in 2014, when the Hoosiers were ranked No. 69.
