WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Silvia Ambrosio played in the first round of ITA Fall Nationals in Surprise, Arizona, on Wednesday.
Ambrosio defeated Stanford's Michaela Gordon 6-3, 6-2. Gordon was seeded 14 in the tournament and ranked No. 10 nationally.
Ambrosio will play Thursday against Salma Ewing of USC at 4:45 p.m. ET. The match will also be live streamed.
