Maksymilian Raupuk led the Boilermakers in day two of the Purdue Invite. The tournament played two rounds of singles with nine flights, with each athlete played two rounds of singles.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Maksymilian Raupuk led the Boilermakers in day two of the Purdue Invite. The tournament played two rounds of singles with nine flights, with each athlete playing two rounds of singles.
 
Beginning the day for Purdue was Stephan Koenigsfest in flight A against Marquette's Brett Mayers. He fell short 7-6, 6-3. The loss put him into the main draw consolation where he lost to Matthew Terry from Cleveland State.
 
Raupuk first defeated Ethan Budiono of IUPUI in flight B, propelling him to the semi-finals. In the semi-finals he defeated Jakov Suler of Chicago State 6-4, 6-4. Raupuk will play Danilo Kovacevic of Ball State for the championship title tomorrow at 9 a.m.
 
Julian Saborio also played in flight B. He began the day in the first round of the consolation bracket, falling to Rius Pol Botifoll of Illinois State 6-3, 6-7, 12-10. Saborio played Vince Anzalone of Toledo falling 6-3, 6-3.
 
Franz Luna began the day in the consolation bracket of flight C against Zacharias Rasmusson from Illinois State. He won 2-6, 7-6(5) 10-4. He was defeated by Chris Adams from Ball State to end his singles matches for the weekend.
 
Dominik Sochurek defeated Thibault DeNegri of Ball State 6-4, 7-5 in the second round of flight C. This victory propelled him into the semi-finals where he lost to Fran Tonejc of DePaul 6-7(3), 6-6, 10-4.
 
Tomorrow will be the final day of the Purdue Invite beginning at 9 a.m. with singles followed by the main draw of doubles.
