Purdue to Host Greek Life Home Run Derby

Purdue baseball invites members of the university's Greek Life community to Alexander Field for an open house and home run derby on Friday, Oct. 19.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue baseball invites members of the university's Greek Life community to Alexander Field for an open house and home run derby on Friday, Oct. 19.

All Greek houses are invited to participate. Gates open at 6 p.m. ET and the home run derby begins at 6:30 p.m. Each house can nominate one person to participate in the home run derby. Please email your house's nomination to sportspromo@purdue.edu by Oct. 18.

Along with a facility tours of the Alexander Field clubhouse, batting cages and press box suites, complimentary hot dogs and chips will be available to attendees.

There will be fraternity and sorority divisions for the home run derby. Each winner will receive a Purdue baseball autographed bat.

• All Greek houses invited
• One home run derby participant from each house
• Fraternity and Sorority divisions
• Email the name of your participant to sportspromo@purdue.edu by Oct. 18
• Facility tours of Alexander Field clubhouse and suite level available
• Complimentary hot dogs & chips served
• Home run derby winners receive an autographed bat
