Six Recognized as All-America Scholar-Athletes

Representing Purdue on the list were: Alexa Binckes, Jenny Behan, Maya Hughes, Molly Meenan, Siena Wagner and Tayler Wullenweber.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Six members of the Purdue softball team were named Easton/National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA)  All-America Scholar-Athletes for their success in the classroom during the 2017-18 academic year.

To qualify for All-America status, a student-athlete had to finish the 2017-18 academic school year with at least a 3.5 grade point average (GPA).

Representing Purdue on the list were: Alexa Binckes, Jenny Behan, Maya Hughes, Molly Meenan, Siena Wagner and Tayler Wullenweber.

Leading the group with a 3.97 GPA, Meenan was also awarded the 2017-18 Purdue Softball Academic Achievement Award. The honor is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative GPA of the year.
