Jacob Aven Recounts Month in Tanzania

Purdue wrestler Jacob Aven overcame fear of the unknown and seized an opportunity: he hopped on a plane with 20 fellow, yet unknown, Purdue students and traveled over 8,000 miles. When he stepped foot on solid ground 17 hours later, he found himself in the heart of Africa to embark on a month-long study abroad program that focused on student teaching.
