World Championships held in even-numbered years are short course (25-meter lengths) events. Swimmers will be competing in the traditional 50-meter long course pool this week.

Katie Hughes swept the 400 and 800-meter freestyle races while posting four top-seven finishes at Senior State. She also placed second in the 1,500 and seventh in the 200.
