WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue (13-39, 4-15 B1G) was held to three hits in a 7-0 loss to Minnesota (32-14, 15-3 B1G). Sunday's game at Bittinger Stadium also marked Senior Day for the Boilermakers as it is the final time Purdue will compete in West Lafayette this season.

Minnesota's bats were too hot for the Boilermakers as the Golden Gophers roped five home runs throughout the contest to fuel its seven-run victory. Stephanie Ramsey, Jenny Behan and Madison Douglass all singled in the contest while Kaylah Hampton drew the only walk in the game for Purdue.

Purdue begins its final Big Ten series of the season Friday, May 4, in Iowa City, Iowa, against the Hawkeyes. Purdue enters the weekend holding onto the final seed in the Big Ten Tournament with Rutgers and Penn State trying to make a bid for postseason play.
