Losing Streak Extends to 3 for MTEN

April 1, 2018

ANN ARBOR, Mich. ââ'¬" Entering Sunday's dual, the Purdue men's tennis team looked to be within reach of its first Big Ten win of the season; however, No. 11 Michigan proved to be too formidable of an opponent for the Boilermakers' young lineup. The Wolverines stifled Purdue's growing momentum in a 6-1 decision inside the Varsity Tennis Center, extending the team's conference drought to four.

The Boilermakers will have another chance Wednesday against Northwestern, while attempting to avoid a fourth-straight loss overall. First serve inside the Schwartz Tennis Center is scheduled for 4 p.m. ET.
