ROSEMONT, Ill. - Steele Johnson's sweep of the springboard events in Purdue's dual meet win vs. No. 16 South Carolina earned the NCAA champion Big Ten Diver of the Week honors again.

Johnson posted his ninth consecutive sweep of the diving events at a regular-season college meet, a streak that dates back to October 2016. He claimed his 14th career Big Ten Diver of the Week award, moving within six of alumnus David Boudia's conference record.

Johnson posted victorious list scores of 455.03 on 1-meter and 480.53. He bested his season-opening scores from the dual win at Miami (Ohio) by at least on 130 points in both events. His Zone-qualifying scores against South Carolina rank as the top nationally this season, via data compiled by CollegeSwimming.com.

Johnson was victorious 1-meter by 118 points and soared to victory on 3-meter by 155 points.

The Boilermakers host Notre Dame on Friday at 5 p.m. for a co-ed dual. All four teams are nationally ranked in the latest College Swimming Coaches Association of America top-25 poll.
