WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - With Purdue's home-opening football game Sept. 8 being a Friday-night primetime event, there will be some modifications to parking.
The Boilermakers play host to Ohio at 8 p.m. ET.
RV lots (RV1, RV3 and RV4) will open Thursday, Sept. 7, at 6 p.m.
All other lots except V (West Lafayette Jr./Sr. High School) will open Friday at noon. The V lot will open at 5 p.m.
Purdue students and staff who customarily park in football gameday lots will not be permitted to do so Sept. 8 beginning at 7 a.m. Signage will be posted in the affected lots Sept. 6. Alternative parking options include the McCutcheon Street garage and the Discovery Park lot. Here is a list of those lots that will be closed Sept. 8:
A: North of Cary Quad/South of Ross-Ade Stadium
C: Northwest corner of Tower Drive and Beering Drive
F: North of Mackey Arena off Northwestern Avenue
G: Between Mackey Arena and Lambert Fieldhouse
H: North and west of Bimel Practice Complex
K: Northwest of Ross-Ade Stadium adjacent to Hilltop Apartments
O: France A. Córdova Recreational Sports Center
Q: Street parking between Cary Quad and Ford Dining Court
R: North of Ross-Ade Stadium
W: France A. Córdova Recreational Sports Center
Y: Tower Drive north of Cary Quad
Z: Northwest of Ross-Ade Stadium facing Ackerman-Allen Golf Course
