AUSTIN, Texas - Road matches have not treated the Boilermakers well this spring. The Purdue men's tennis team suffered its fifth loss of the season Sunday , falling 4-0 to No. 11 Texas at the Weller Indoor Tennis Center. All five losses are the result of either an away or neutral site match, including Friday's 4-0 stumble to No. 13 Baylor - the first of Purdue's two completions in the Lone Star State.

In defense of the Boilermakers, though, three of those five matches were against top-15 competition; No. 5 Georgia handed Purdue its first defeat back in January. Additionally, both Alabama and Louisville barely edged past Purdue 4-3 earlier this season.

Regardless, the men will have to find a way to win outside of West Lafayette, Indiana, if the team wants to stay above .500. After its upcoming home doubleheader Feb. 25, Purdue enters Big Ten play with a majority of those matches taking place away from the comforts of the Schwartz Tennis Center.
