Purdue's Coaches vs. Cancer Pledge Site
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue men's basketball team has teamed with the American Cancer Society and the National Association (NABC) for the 2016-17 Coaches vs. Cancer 3-Point Challenge.
The NABC and Coaches vs. Cancer has joined the fundraising website PledgeIt.org to raise money for the 3-Point Challenge. A season-long campaign, Purdue has joined teams from across the country during the 2016-17 college basketball season, looking to help raise funds for cancer research, programs and services.
Fans can support the Boilermakers by pledging a donation for every 3-pointer made by the Gold and Black this season. The team raising the most money from its 3-pointers will be crowned champion, with all proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society and Coaches vs. Cancer.
The Boilermakers have already made 145 3-pointers this season and are on pace for about 340 trifectas. Donations can start at a penny and every donation helps to win the fight against cancer.
