WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. --
The Purdue wrestling team will take to the South End Zone of Ross-Ade Stadium for Practice on the Patio starting at 10 a.m. ET on Saturday. The 90-minute practice precedes the Boilermakers' Homecoming football game against Iowa that is set to kick at noon.

"We are very excited to be able to take our practice outside to the South End Zone and expose our sport," Purdue head wrestling coach Tony Ersland said. "It's going to be exciting to put our guys in a different environment and show casual fans, or even those that haven't been exposed to wrestling, how hard our guys work. It's going to be a great experience for everyone."

Spectators will have the opportunity to see the nation's No. 6 recruiting class, returning NCAA qualifier Alex Griffin and new assistant coach Kendric Maple, a NCAA champion at 141 pounds, and volunteer assistant coach Jake Sueflohn, a four-time NCAA qualifier, all in action. The 2016-17 Purdue wrestling poster will be revealed and available to fans at Practice on the Patio.

A ticket for the football game is required for entry and full South End Zone concession options will be available during Practice on the Patio.
