WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Big Ten Conference released its 2016-17 women's basketball television slate Monday, revealing at least six nationally televised for the Boilermakers. Purdue will play five straight games on the national state from Jan. 15 to Feb. 2, and a sixth on Feb. 19 at home against Iowa, in addition to at least 16 BTN Plus webcasts during the season.

All eight of the Boilermakers' non-conference home games, including the exhibition game, will air live via BTN Plus, in addition to the first four game of the Big Ten Conference schedule, starting Dec. 31 at Northwestern. Purdue's first TV game is scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 15, as the Boilermakers are set to host Ohio State for a 3:30 p.m. ET tip-off on ESPN2.

The Boilermakers will play back-to-back road games on the Big Ten Network , heading to Bloomington for the annual Barn Burner Trophy game against archrival Indiana on Thursday, Jan. 19, at 8 p.m., and then to East Lansing on Sunday, Jan. 22, for a 5 p.m. tip at Michigan State. Purdue then plays host to Nebraska and Maryland on consecutive Thursdays in Mackey Arena, facing the Cornhuskers on Jan. 26 at 6 p.m. and the Terrapins on Feb. 2 at 8 p.m.

Purdue's final scheduled TV game comes at home against Iowa on Sunday, Feb. 19, at noon, but will have two more opportunities for national exposure as the BTN is holding Purdue's final two contests as wild card games that will air on either the linear network or BTN Plus. The Boilermakers travel to Minnesota on Thursday, Feb. 23, and host Northwestern for Senior Day on Sunday, Feb. 26.

The Boilermakers officially start practice Sunday, Oct. 2, and game action gets underway Sunday, Nov. 6, as Purdue hosts Ursuline College for an exhibition contest.
