WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue women's basketball staff will hold walkon tryouts for females interested in the opportunity to compete for the team on Tuesday, Oct. 4, at 4 p.m. in Mackey Arena. Paperwork must be completed and submitted to the women's basketball staff by Friday, Sept. 30, in order to be eligible for Tuesday's event.
All potential walkons must be enrolled full-time at Purdue University, are required to provide a copy of their fall semester class schedule and proof of a physical exam in order to participate in the tryout.
Interested parties should contact assistant coach Lindsay Wisdom-Hylton as soon as possible at 765.494.0605 or lwisdomh@purdue.edu. The pre-participation physical must have been conducted within the last calendar year and include a sickle cell test. Forms can be submitted via email or dropped off at the women's basketball offices, located on the upper level of Mackey Arena, Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
