Softball Announces Fall Games

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Boilermaker softball program begins its first season under head coach Boo DeOliviera with a pair of home games this Sunday.

Purdue kicks off its fall slate of games with contests against Heartland Community College and Butler on Sept. 11. The Boilermakers will face Heartland at 11 a.m., followed by an approximately 1 p.m. contest between Butler and Heartland. The day will conclude with an approximately 3 p.m. game between Purdue and Butler. All games will take place at Boilermaker Softball Stadium. Admission is free.

The Boilermakers then hit the road for week two of their fall slate, as they take on Indiana State and Miami (Ohio) on Sept. 18 at Grand Park in Westfield, Indiana, as part of the third annual "Softball GameDay" event. Purdue will face the Sycamores at 11 a.m. and the Redhawks at 1:15 p.m., both on Field D23. Admission is $10 per person or just $5 for youth softball players wearing their softball jerseys and children ages 12 and under.

Purdue will wrap its fall slate with a doubleheader against Lakeland College on Wednesday, Sept. 28. The twin bill will begin at 5 p.m. ET and take place at the Boilermaker Softball Stadium. Admission is free.
