WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Registration for the 2016 Sharon Versyp Basketball Camps is now open, and campers can register online for any of the three individual sessions. Camp opens Friday, June 17, with the Fundamental Junior Skills Day Camp, for campers grades 1-6, and the Elite Camp for seventh-to-12th graders on the Purdue campus.
In addition to the Fundamental Junior Skills Day Camp and Elite Camp, Versyp and her staff will host Player Development Camp on June 17-19 for sixth-to-12th graders. Player Development Camp is an overnight experience with campers staying in the nearby campus dorms at Purdue, and working through a daily schedule from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Campers will have constant attention to their fundamentals over the three days with constant feedback from the staff.
Camps will be staffed by Versyp and the entire Boilermaker coaching staff, in addition to returning members of the current team and several former Purdue stars. Former Boilermakers expected to be at camp include KK Houser, FahKara Malone and Sam Ostarello.
