WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue women's basketball director of operations Terry Kix has been invited to take place in an outstanding event this week, and will be one of six speakers at the Cancer Moonshot Summit, hosted by the Purdue University Center for Cancer Research at 1 p.m. ET in the lobby of the Neil Armstrong Hall of Engineering.
Kix was diagnosed with stage three stomach cancer in 2012, and has been cancer-free for almost three years. She has been very active with the Purdue Center for Cancer Research and in the Greater Lafayette community, sitting on the board of directors for the Community Cancer Network and implementing two major fundraisers for the organization.
