WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The track & field teams compete for the final time before the championship portion of the season begins next week. The Boilermakers head back to Notre Dame, where they were two weeks ago, for the Alex Wilson Invitational. Purdue will send 17 student-athletes to the single-day meet.

THE COMPETITION
Purdue will face some familiar competition, including competition from three other Big Ten schools, as well as some of the nation's top teams. The field includes competitors from the following schools:
- Indiana
- Michigan
- Iowa
- Notre Dame
- Baylor
- LSU
- Oklahoma
- Oklahoma State
- Washington
- UCLA
- Arkansas
- Iowa State
- Georgia Tech
- Mississippi State

PURDUE HEADLINERS
Chukwuebuka Enekwechi, the two-time defending Big Ten Field Athlete of the Week and five time winner this season, will compete in the shot put. He holds the No. 2 mark in program history and No. 6 in the country.

Anaquan Peterson will compete in the triple jump, where he has the No. 2 mark in program history and No. 15 mark in the country.

Jessica Harter will compete in the women's pole vault, where she has the No. 4 mark in program history. Carmiesha Cox is entered in the women's 60-meter dash, where she is No. 4 in program history.

The women's distance medley relay team, which ranks eighth in the country, will be up against some of the nation's best in the event, including Arkansas who is sixth nationally.
