WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- The track & field teams head to Indiana University for the second time this season, as the Boilermakers are set to compete in the IU Relays. Purdue will send a smaller group, with 23 women and 14 men making the trip.
THE MEET
The IU Relays is a two-day meet, scheduled to begin Friday at 6 p.m. ET with the women's long jump and 60 meter hurdles. Friday's action will conclude at 9:30, before resuming Saturday at 11 a.m.
THE COMPETITION
The Boilermakers will competes against individuals from Indiana, Alabama, Louisville, Cincinnati, Notre Dame, Kentucky and Tulane, among other schools.
THE HEADLINERS
Among the headliners the Boilermakers are scheduled to send to the meet are school record holders Symone Black, Taylor Dunlap, Aarin Jones, Vanessa McLeod and Matthew McClintock. Luke Lewis, who was named the Big Ten Field Athlete of the Week after the season-opening meet at IU, is also slated to compete.
