Texas Relays Meet Schedule | Bobcat Invitational Schedule
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue track and field teams are back in action this weekend as they head to Texas for a pair of meets. The Boilermakers will compete at the Texas Relays and the Texas State Bobcat Invitational. Purdue is sending 19 women and 15 men on the Texas trip. Most of the group will start at the Texas Relays, while several will compete at both meets.
The women's team will be led by the usual suspects. Carmiesha Cox, Devynne Charlton and Savannah Carson are among the top short sprinters on the trip for the Boilermakers. Symone Black is also scheduled to compete, as she will continue her impressive freshman season. Carson and Cierra Brown are among the top female jumpers on the trip, while Jessica Harter and Jacqueline Williams are entered in the pole vault.
On the men's side, Tyler Askew and Anaquan Peterson are among the top competitors, while Chukwuebuka Enekwechi earns himself a week off. Obokhare Ikpefan is also scheduled to compete and will look to continue moving up the 400-meter hurdles list, where he already among the top five in school history. Talented freshmen Luke Lewis and Kinard Rolle will also compete, looking to improve on their young outdoor careers.
