Marshall Game Moved to Sept. 6

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue and Marshall have announced that the 2015 season-opening football game in Huntington, W.Va., has been moved from Saturday, Sept. 5, to Sunday, Sept. 6. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. ET on national television with more details to be released at a later time.

The Boilermakers and Thundering Herd are meeting for merely the second time on the gridiron. Purdue outlasted Marshall 51-41 in Ross-Ade Stadium on Sept. 29, 2012. The Boilermakers last opened a season on a Sunday when they beat Syracuse 51-0 on Sept. 5, 2004.
