WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Boilermakers head north to Notre Dame for the second time in three weeks this weekend. The track and field teams are set to compete in the two-day Meyo Invitational, which begins on Friday at 4 p.m. ET.

Purdue has been steadily improving throughout the season. The young, talented women's team has already set four school records this season, and added numerous top-10 marks in program history. Three of the women's school records, and one men's, came two weeks ago at the Notre Dame Invitational, and the Boilermakers will look to add to that total this weekend.

Devynne Charlton was one to watch at the Notre Dame Invite, as she broke two school records in less than 10 minutes. She'll be back this weekend, scheduled to compete in the 60-meter hurdles and the 200-meter dash. The women's sprint groups will look to continue to add marks to the top 10s in school history. The 60m dash group of Savannah Carson, Carmiesha Cox and Twya Winfrey already has their names among the top 10 in school history, while Savannah Roberson and Shantyra Delaney will try to add theirs.

The women's 200m dash group may be the deepest on the team. The squad already has five of the 10 fastest runners in school history and all of them are sophomores or younger. Cox and Charlton have two of the program top three times and are scheduled to run on Friday. Carson, Roberson and Symone Black will also compete and look to move up the list. In the 400m, Black and Aarin Jones are scheduled to run, both of whom have top times in school history. The women's 4x400m relay team of Black, Taylor Dunlap, Jones and Cox will be back on the track where they broke the school record two weeks ago.

In the field events, Jessica Harter and Jacqueline Williams will lead the pole vaulters. Savannah Carson will be in the long jump, where at the Notre Dame Invite she cracked the top 10 in school history. Cierra Brown will lead the Boilermakers in the triple jump.

On the men's side, Chukwuebuka Enekwechi will compete at the venue where he set the school record in the weight throw two weeks ago. However, the junior is scheduled to compete only in the shot put, where he has the school's No. 2 mark in history. Jordan Roos and Luke Lewis will also be in the shot put, where both currently sit just outside Purdue's top 10.

Justin Veteto is set to make his Purdue debut this weekend. The freshman is scheduled to run in the 60m hurdles, alongside Shane Mikesky and Tim Deal. Akeem Hunt and Raheem Mostert are scheduled to compete for Purdue in the 60m dash. Hunt opened up his season at Notre Dame two weeks ago and narrowly missed his personal best. Tyler Askew is also set to make his season debut in the 60m dash. Matthew McClintock will be back on the track this weekend, this time for his season opener in the mile. He will run alongside teammates Tyler Wynn, Kevin Handshoe and Jake Waterman.

In the field events, Anaquan Peterson is scheduled to be back in action after a career weekend in the long and triple jumps last week. Peterson will compete in both again this weekend, including the triple jump where he recorded the fourth longest jump in school history last weekend.
