Meet The Boilers: Freshman Gina Snyder

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - In the final five days before opening day, we invite you to learn a little more about the 2015 Boilermaker softball team, including fun facts and a few of their favorite things.

Today, we introduce freshman pitcher Gina Snyder. Snyder was a four-time All-Southern Arizona and All-D1 selection at Sahuaro High School in Tucson, Ariz. As a senior, she posted an 11-1 record with a 1.21 ERA and 134 strikeouts in 69 innings en route to All-Southern Airzona All-Softball Pitcher of the Year honors. Off the field, she was nominated to represent her high school at the National Youth Leadership Forum on National Security in Washington D.C. in 2013.
