WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - In the final 16 days before opening day, we invite you to learn a little more about the 2015 Boilermaker softball team, including fun facts and a few of their favorite things.
To start, we introduce senior pitcher Lexy Moore. The St. Peters, Mo., native has seen action in 97 games as a Boilermaker, posting a 35-36 record and 268 strikeouts in 437 innings of work. The two-time Academic All-Big Ten selection struck out 53 batters in 76 innings in 2014, including a complete game with five Ks against Kent State.

Most memorable sports moment prior to Purdue: When I hit the winning run in to win nationals
Pregame ritual: I have to change in the locker room before home games or it does not feel right, and of course wear a bow.
Celebrity crush: Channing Tatum
Best non-athletic talent: I am very crafty like my mom.
Dream job: Fashion designer in New York
Song I have to listen to before a game: Anything country. Love my girl, Carrie Underwood.
