WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue head coach Darrell Hazell surprised the team by taking them off campus for Wednesday's two-a-day of practices. The Boilermakers made a 45-minute bus ride up to St. Joseph's College in Rensselaer, Ind., where they had a morning session in front of the Big Ten Network crew.

BTN's Dave Revsine, Gerry DiNardo and Howard Griffith were on hand for the morning session as part of the conference's 14 team coverage of fall camps. The show will air tonight at 9:30 p.m. ET and includes practice footage and interviews with Hazell, offensive coordinator John Shoop, defensive coordinator Greg Hudson, quarterback Danny Etling and defensive end Ryan Russell.

In the afternoon session, the team worked on several situations, including "the last play in the world," where there is one second left on the clock. The defense won all three from the 18-yard line, while the offense had better success closer to the goal line.

Hazell and freshman running back D.J. Knox spoke to the media after practice. Those interviews can be found below.
