WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Boilermakers were back on the gridiron Tuesday morning for their 10th practice of fall camp. Head coach Darrell Hazell's group worked on special teams as well as some situational offense and defense.
The defense dominated the first and 10 at the offense's own 1-yard line, resulting in two three-and-outs and one safety. In the four minute offense, where the offense tried to run the clock out, both Danny Etling and Austin Appleby's groups were able to pick up some first downs, with Etling's unit finishing in victory formation inside the 5-yard line.
Hazell spoke to the media about the situational periods, among several topics. Defensive line coach Rubin Carter and defensive ends Jalani Phillips and Ryan Russell also spoke to the media about the consistency and confidence of the group. All of those interviews can be found below.
