April 30 Softball Game Cancelled

April 24, 2014

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Boilermaker softball team's April 30 game with IPFW has been cancelled due to a scheduling conflict. The game will not be rescheduled.

Purdue (25-22-1, 12-5 Big Ten) has six games left on its regular season slate: a weekend series in Madison, April 25-27, and its home and Boilermaker Softball Complex closing series with Minnesota, May 2-4.

The Boilers' Friday, April 25 contest with Wisconsin will be televised live on the Big Ten Network at 5 p.m. The series with the Badgers also features a 3 p.m. Saturday contest and a 1 p.m. Sunday game.

Purdue is currently third in the Big Ten standings and tied for the best league start in program history. The Boilers are coming off a Wednesday doubleheader split with No. 4 Michigan, which matched a program best for the highest ranked foe ever beaten by a Boilermaker side.
