West Lafayette, Ind.- Sophomore guard Brittany Rayburn scored a game-high 21 points, while seniors FahKara Malone and Jodi Howell added 17 and 13 points, to lead the Boilers past Lindsey Wilson College, 74-39, in its only exhibition game of the season.

The victory was Purdue's 30th-consecutive exhibition victory, and improved the Boilermakers' overall exhibition record to 35-3. With the win head coach Sharon Verysp is now 4-0 in exhibition play.

Rayburn was 9 of 17 from the floor and 3 of 4 from the line, while also recording seven rebounds, two blocked shots and an assist in 33 minutes of work. Malone was 8 of 14 from the field for 17 points, while Howell chipped in 13 points on 4 of 9 shooting, including 2 of 7 from long range.

Freshman forward Sam Ostarello led the team with 12 rebounds, while Malone dished out a team-high four assists.

Purdue pestered the Blue Raiders all afternoon, forcing 27 turnovers, recording 10 blocked shots, 14 steals while holding them to 28.8 percent from the field. Ostarello led the Boilers with four blocked shots, while Malone led Purdue with seven steals.

Purdue returns to action on Sunday, Nov. 15, when the Boilermakers play to host Western Illinois in their season opener. The game is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET and can be seen through live video web streaming on BigTenNetwork.com.
